Tea is an extremely popular drink across the globe. There are several health benefits of drinking tea; I do make it a point to have it on a regular basis. But even this rather ‘innocent’ beverage can be harmful to your health. When I told this to one of my friends he laughed at me and put aside any logical explanation in favour of this statement. But it is true that I do follow certain rules while having my cup of coffee. I make it a point of not consuming three cups per day, though many would say that two cups of coffee are more than enough. I get energized by having coffee and continue with my daily works with more concentration. However, drinking too much coffee can put unnecessary pressure on the nerves. The nerve cells are sensitive things, and the caffeine present in the processed coffee beans, if taken in a considerable quantity, can harm them severely. This may give rise to health problems, such as anxiety, irregularities in digestive process, or even dental problems. And I am sure none of you or I would prefer drinking more coffee and inflicting these health problems over consuming less coffee and not being affected by these health ailments. (more…)
